Class Notes: Winter ’24

News and notes from Bison around the world.

Bison Yearbook 1932 Hilltop staff

THE CLASS OF 1932: Ninety-two years ago, sandwiched between world wars, the Class of 1932 graduated in the midst of the Great Depression. The Hilltop celebrated its eighth year in print, which, by then, reached readers nationwide. “This year the Editor and his staff have attempted to set a standard for all time to be followed by future editors of The Hilltop. The Hilltop has attempted to maintain an independent position,” the staff wrote in the Bison yearbook. “We do not know our value as a college newspaper. These are things for our readers to say.” Ninety-plus years later, it’s fair to say The Hilltop’s value has grown exponentially.
